Job Title: Primary Classroom Teacher

Cheshire School, a not-for-profit organisation, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Classroom Teacher to join our team. As a Primary Classroom Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to students who have significant social, emotional and behavioural challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to students with social, emotional and behavioural challenges
  • Support and guide students towards success using innovative and engaging teaching methods
  • Work collaboratively with the school's multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Have a strong passion for working with students who require extra support and motivation to encourage them to achieve their fullest potential

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Education (Primary) or equivalent qualification
  • Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
  • Experience working with children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
