Forensic Investigation Role

This challenging position combines structural engineering with forensic analysis. Successful applicants will have a deep understanding of design principles and excellent communication skills.

  • Conduct thorough investigations to identify potential issues in residential, commercial, and industrial structures.
  • Analyse failures using theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
  • Prepare detailed reports on the cause of distress or failure and recommended remediation measures.
  • Liaise with stakeholders including homeowners, insurers, builders, and legal teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (RPEQ or CPEng preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in structural engineering with a strong background in remediation or forensics.
  • Strong working knowledge of building codes and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with insurance companies or legal teams.
