Job Overview

The role of a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Advisor is crucial in ensuring the well-being of personnel involved in construction projects. This position requires effective management of safety-related tasks, identification of potential hazards, and adherence to regulatory compliance.

Your Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, pre-starts, and toolbox meetings to identify potential hazards and risks.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate identified risks and maintain a healthy and safe work environment.
  • Perform health and safety audits and workplace inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
Your Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), such as a Diploma or Certificate.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in WHS, preferably in commercial new build projects including fit-outs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop relationships with colleagues, contractors, and clients at all levels.
  • A thorough understanding of current legislation, regulations, and building codes relevant to Australia.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
