Apprentice Metalworker

We are seeking a motivated individual to take up an apprenticeship as a Fabricator. The role involves supporting the Workshop and Fleet team and gaining practical skills in fabrication and welding activities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for school leavers, mature age applicants, or those who have already commenced their Certificate III in Engineering to develop their skills and knowledge in a hands-on workshop environment.

The successful candidate will complete a Certificate III in Engineering, Fabrication course at TAFE while working on-the-job to gain practical experience. Key skills will include welding, cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components using tools and machinery.

This apprenticeship covers both theoretical and practical requirements, providing the candidate with four years of hands-on training and formal qualifications upon completion.

Throughout this apprenticeship, you will receive ongoing training, guidance, and support from workplace mentors while completing a nationally recognised qualification.
