Housing Officer Role

At our organization, we aim to provide safe and affordable housing options for individuals in need. As a Housing Officer, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional tenancy management services.

The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable people in the community. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality tenancy and property management services, including property inspections, allocations of vacant properties, and rental collection.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including government departments, clients, and relevant support agencies.
  • Representing our organization at hearings and performing administrative tasks, including reporting and maintaining accurate property and tenancy data.

Key requirements include:

  • Demonstrated experience in providing client-focused tenancy management services.
  • A solid understanding of residential tenancies legislation.
  • Relevant skills and experience in working sensitively with diverse customer groups, including those experiencing housing crises.
  • A strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a caring and empathetic nature.

Employment with us requires a satisfactory police check and certain staff members must obtain an NDIS and Working with Children Check.
