Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workshop Fitter to join our team. This role requires an individual with strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building, machining, and assembling driveshafts for various applications, including automotive, commercial, off-highway, and industrial.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Building and reconditioning driveshafts
  • Machining of driveline components
  • Assembling, welding, and balancing of driveshafts

Requirements:

  • Well-developed fitting and machining skills
  • Sound mechanical knowledge and aptitude
  • Experience operating manual lathes and welding equipment
  • Ability to participate in ongoing training and development
  • Proven safety and quality focus
