Design Drafter: Water & Wastewater Projects

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Drafter to join our East Coast Water Team. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering civil and mechanical design documentation for water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Queensland, New South Wales, and beyond.

Our growing pipeline of large-scale, high-profile projects demands the best talent in the industry. We are looking for an experienced senior drafter or designer who can excel in our 12d model workflows or Civil3D environment. Considered equally, a qualified drafter with expertise in AutoCAD will also be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support design and drafting work across civil, mechanical, and structural disciplines for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare process and mechanical design documentation using AutoCAD and 12d Model or Civil3D.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to develop practical, cost-effective designs for water and other infrastructure projects.
  • Apply skills in designing and detailing water and wastewater infrastructure, including pipelines and pump stations.
  • Utilize software tools to produce accurate drawings and enhance drafting workflows.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years' experience in civil design, preferably in water and wastewater infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of water and sewerage design, including pipelines and pump stations.
  • Proficiency in 12d or Civil3D and AutoCAD for infrastructure projects in Australia.
  • Ability to adapt to varied projects and learn new technical aspects.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to work independently or collaboratively.
