Trade Assistant Position

We are seeking highly motivated and skilled trade assistants to join our team in the Hunter Valley Region.

The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on various mine sites, contributing to the safety and efficiency of our operations.

As a trade assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to WHS protocols and procedures
  • Working effectively within a team environment to achieve shared goals
  • Providing mechanical support and assistance as required

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a can-do attitude, strong commitment to WHS, and mechanical aptitude. You must also be able to work a minimum of 4 days per week.

Highly desirable skills include valid inductions at Hunter Valley open cut sites, Working at Heights, MDG25, First Aid, Forklift, Confined Space, and Current Order 43 Medical. A Glencore or Yancoal Induction is also highly regarded.
