Job Title: Economic Strategist for Infrastructure Planning
Sector Analysis RoleEconomic planning for cities and regions' infrastructure demands is complex. The challenge lies in balancing immediate needs with strategic investments that shape the future.
The sector's development requires a harmonious balance between short-term requirements and long-term goals. Our team helps plan for our places, cities, and regions by developing and prioritising projects, generating sustainable community benefits, and providing strategic advice to clients.
This role will play a key part in our team by:
- Developing and providing strategic advice on infrastructure investments across various sectors, including housing, transport, education, skills, health, energy, and water.
- Conducting economic modelling and analysis, developing policies and strategies, delivering feasibility studies, and business cases for infrastructure investments.
- Contributing to sustaining our positive culture, which is integral to the success of our team.
- Participating in tailored learning and development opportunities, working with industry leaders, and shaping personal growth and development.
- Working in a flexible environment across offices, homes, and client hubs.
Key Qualifications
We are seeking a senior economist who brings recent experience in quantitative analysis, cost-benefit analysis, geospatial analysis, data visualisation, and/or model development.
