We are seeking an experienced Field Service Forklift Technician to join our team at Toyota Material Handling Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of maintenance services, including planned maintenance, repairs, and modifications to a wide range of Toyota Forklifts and other industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance of customer units, including preventative service and break-downs in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of job sheets, timesheets, and any other administrative components.
- Provide professional-level customer service to all TMHA clients and customers.
- Current Manual Driver's license.
- Relevant trade qualification, such as Forklift Mechanic, Automotive Electrician/Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle, Plant, or Diesel Mechanic.
- Forklift License and LPG Certificate would be an advantage but not essential.
- Previous experience within the forklift industry or a similar industry.
- Good diagnostic and repair skills.
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
- Well-developed mechanical aptitude.
- Good time management skills with the ability to work independently.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role in an associated industry.
- Willingness to participate in training programs to increase product knowledge and understanding of procedures, safe work practices, statutory responsibilities, and licensing requirements.
