At Legal Aid NSW, we are dedicated to creating safe and healthy working environments for our staff. As a Staff Wellbeing Officer, you will play a crucial role in delivering services and support to our schools and workplaces.

This position involves providing proactive services to schools and direct support to staff to strengthen mentally healthy workplaces within schools and workplaces.

You will promote effective strategies and programs to build the capability of staff in our schools and workplaces, implement programs and initiatives to enhance staff wellbeing across the department, and provide ongoing support to staff and schools through end-to-end case management.

About You

We are looking for someone who is able to remain resilient and composed in high-pressure and rapidly changing situations. You should be able to show drive and motivation, an ability to self-reflect and a commitment to learning.

You will have strong communication skills, being able to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders, and be able to work collaboratively and be supportive in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrated experience in the implementation of programs and strategies to enhance staff wellbeing and mentally healthy workplaces.
  • Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of programs and strategies to enhance staff wellbeing in schools.
Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $101,947 to $112,849 + super and leave loading.
