Job Title: Language Specialist

Role Overview:

We seek skilled linguists to work on a freelance basis, providing professional translation and interpretation services across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret for individuals accessing public and private services
  • Evaluate understanding after each communication
  • Deliver consecutive, conference, and public service interpreting
  • Maintain confidentiality in high-stakes situations
  • Cultivate effective dialogue between service users and providers

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in English and an additional language
  • Formal qualifications such as Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registration is beneficial
  • Age 21 or above
