Overview
An animator is required to create 15–20 minute animated videos for a YouTube channel focused on true crime stories, mysterious disappearances, medical enigmas, and unusual events. Scripts and voiceovers will be provided, along with creative direction, and the completed videos should be fully edited and ready for upload. While high quality is important, flexibility in animation style is welcome, ranging from stick figure to whiteboard animation. The animator will have the freedom to contribute ideas to the process, with the potential for ongoing collaboration if the initial projects are successful.
Responsibilities
Create 15–20 minute animated videos for YouTube per provided scripts and voiceovers
Edit videos to final upload-ready format
Collaborate on creative direction and contribute ideas for ongoing projects
Qualifications
Experience in creating animated video content for YouTube or similar platforms
Ability to work with provided scripts and voiceovers, editing videos to final upload-ready format
Proficiency in animation and video editing software (e.g., After Effects, Toon Boom, Blender, or similar)
Flexibility to adapt animation style (stick figure, whiteboard, or other creative approaches)
Strong storytelling and visual communication skills
Reliable communication and ability to collaborate on creative direction
Availability for a remote engagement with potential for long-term collaboration
Willingness to share a portfolio or examples of previous animation work
