The University of Queensland is seeking an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person to fill the role of Associate Lecturer, Lecturer, or Senior Lecturer in Indigenous Health Education and Engagement. This is a teaching-focused position that will provide Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leadership to implement Indigenous Health Education for the MD program within the Rural Clinical School.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community to promote inclusivity and a sense of belonging.
- Assist with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student recruitment and support.
- Provide academic leadership to implement Indigenous Health Education for the MD program.
We are looking for an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person who is passionate about Indigenous Health Education and Engagement. You will have a strong understanding of the needs and aspirations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and community members.
