About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander academic to join The University of Queensland as an Associate Lecturer, Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Indigenous Health Education and Engagement.

The successful candidate will provide Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leadership in implementing Indigenous Health Education for the MD program within the Rural Clinical School. Key aspects of the role include engaging with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, assisting with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student recruitment and support, and promoting inclusivity and a sense of belonging.

This is a teaching-focused position that requires a strong commitment to Indigenous health education and a passion for working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and communities.
