Job Title: Advanced Infrastructure Specialist

The role involves providing hands-on technical support and infrastructure experience in troubleshooting, metering, and monitoring at a prominent site. This position serves as the primary point of contact for local support activities.

The successful applicant will relish diverse opportunities to demonstrate exceptional customer-facing skills as they deliver comprehensive support across the local infrastructure stack, collaborating with the wider networking and server storage teams to implement a unified global strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver local site support and oversee management of support activities, tasking local resources to provide an efficient customer-driven support team, manage, monitor, and participate in problem resolution through a centralized ticket system.
  • Execute network troubleshooting tasks involving TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
  • Complete work orders related to equipment installation, connection, and relocation, including workstations, telephony hardware, and peripherals.
  • Prepare, image, and ship new hire or replacement equipment to ensure timely onboarding deadlines are met.
  • Provide direct support for network and server teams as required.
  • Offer onsite white glove support, establish strong relationships with executives, staff, and visitors, and promptly assist them with questions, incidents, and service requests.
  • Implement and manage patch management on local site infrastructure under the guidance of IT functional teams.
  • Occasionally require out-of-hours or weekend presence to meet business requirements.
  • Manage local staff levels and assets, including stock level management and life cycle refresh planning.
