Job Summary

At Boeing, we are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of inventory at our warehouse facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the receipt, storage, and handling of inventory, including lifting and carrying cartons weighing up to 35 lbs.
  • Manage cartons in excess of 35 lbs. utilizing available safety tools.
  • Identify and verify part numbers, and place parts in proper locations.
  • Use a utility cart, computer, or laptop to manage inventory, and perform cycle counts and hand scanning.
  • Pick and fill orders using a laptop computer or hand scanner, and prepare warehouse pull and return.
  • Load and off-load material to/from delivery trucks, sort and reconcile, and enter information into the ERP system.
  • Match paperwork to boxes and prepare orders for billing and shipping.
  • Relocate items between the office and warehouse as required, and organize and manage contractors to relocate large items.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of related work experience, with warehouse experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry cartons weighing up to 35 lbs.
  • Ability to manage cartons in excess of 35 lbs. utilizing available safety tools.
  • Ability to fluently read, write, and speak English.
  • Experience in operating material handling equipment.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Intermediate experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Current valid driver's license with a clean driving record (at sites where driving forms part of the role).
  • Ability to stand and walk on cement floors for long periods of time throughout the workday.
  • Must be detail-oriented, efficient, and able to work in a fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Experience in international shipping and distribution.
  • Previous experience in the receipt and dispatch of goods and services.
  • A strong commitment to WH&S policies and procedures.
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn with a "can-do" attitude.
