Wastewater Labourer Role

We are seeking a skilled Wastewater Labourer to join our services unit. As a Labourer, you will play a hands-on role in daily operations, assisting with responding to customer enquiries and ensuring assets are maintained to a high standard.

This is a challenging opportunity for those interested in the maintenance of sewer reticulation systems. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in a similar role and hold the necessary qualifications and skills required for the position.

Requirements
  • Secondary education to Year 10
  • A current MR licence (HR is desirable)
  • Construction White Card
  • Basic computer skills
  • Current confined space accreditation and/or ability and willingness to gain accreditation
  • Qualifications in a trade profession or previous experience in the wastewater industry (desirable)
  • Practical ability to pre-empt and organise tools and equipment to assist with all aspects of wastewater maintenance activities
  • Physically fit and willing to work in outdoor environments
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work well within a team
