Job Description

The role involves undertaking routine tasks in preparation for painting, including rub-downs, masking, and applying coats of paint to cabs and chassis according to quality standards.

This is a full-time opportunity working on heavy commercial vehicles, requiring the ability to work safely, maintain attention to detail, and achieve high-quality finishes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A trade qualification as an Automotive Spray Painter (Cert III or equivalent)
  • Previous experience painting in the automotive industry, with preference given to those who have worked on heavy vehicles, trucks, or trailers
  • Skills in surface preparation, colour matching, and achieving high-quality finishes
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve paint quality issues
