Job Overview

The Program Officer is responsible for supporting the Program Manager and Assistant Director in achieving business objectives. The role involves complex transactional, procedural, operational and administrative work within an integrated workforce.

This position requires strong organizational and communication skills to ensure effective collaboration with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policy Development: Support the development of policies and procedures to support participant or graduate experience.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise and collaborate with key stakeholders to increase awareness of Defence's Graduate and Entry Level programs.
  • Event Planning: Plan and assist the Program Manager to facilitate events and workshops to promote entry level pathways into Defence.
  • Client Feedback: Gather client and stakeholder feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Process Compliance: Support the team to ensure Defence standards, processes and policies are understood and upheld by Program participants.
  • Program Materials: Assist the Program Manager to develop and maintain a range of program materials, for example manuals and handbooks.
  • Administrative Support: Perform general administrative duties as required.
