Expert Compliance Officer

Our organization is seeking an experienced Compliance Specialist to maintain and enhance our compliance standards across operations. This role will be critical in ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Develop and implement compliance management systems to ensure effective risk mitigation and minimize exposure.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections at remote sites to identify potential risks, enforce compliance protocols, and address non-conformities.
- Manage risk and contractor compliance, including hazard reporting and facilitating training sessions.
- Investigate incidents and lead root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement.
- Must hold Australian citizenship due to security clearance requirements.
- Relevant certifications, such as Certificate IV in WHS (Diploma in WH&S Management highly desirable).
- Experience in a similar role within facilities management, construction, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of legislative frameworks, exposure to ISO standards, and risk management principles.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a proactive approach.
As a Compliance Specialist, you will play a vital role in upholding the highest standards of compliance and safety. Your expertise will contribute significantly to maintaining a secure work environment and driving business growth initiatives.
