Job Description

Catholic Care seeks a highly skilled Manager, Counselling Services to lead our client's diverse counselling programs, including Family Relationships, Family Law, Financial, and Grief & Loss Counselling.

About the Role:

  • Lead and manage counselling services to meet contractual and organisational targets.
  • Promote services and build relationships with community networks.
  • Provide operational supervision and professional development to the counselling team.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation, safeguarding, and risk management standards.
  • Oversee service coordination and ensure service level agreements are achieved.
  • Financial budget coordination/management.

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in counselling, psychotherapy, or social work, with eligibility for accreditation (AASW, ACA, PACFA or AHPRA).
  • 2 years' leadership experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in conflict resolution, multitasking, and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Parenting program facilitation experience is desirable but not essential (Keeping Kids In Mind, Circle Of Security Parenting, Tuning Into Kids, Tuning Into Teens).
