Senior Educational Leader

This is a key strategic role in supporting the continuous improvement of schools and their staff.

  • The Senior Educational Leader will develop professional relationships with school leaders that are collegial, constructive, informed and insightful.
  • The Senior Educational Leader will spend significant time with individual school leaders to gain a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities at each school.

This role is a critical member of the leadership team responsible for driving educational outcomes that align with our strategy and put students and young people at the center of all decision making.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have
  • A tertiary qualification in education or a related field.
  • Significant experience in managing and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing our Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding our Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG.
  • A valid clearance to work with Children (Working with Children Check).
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the values of public education.
  • Evidence of ability to evaluate situations and information, combined with the ability to consult with others in order to inform, facilitate and expedite decision making Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation, written and oral communication skills.
