Job Description

Randstad Defence is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the PMO office of a Federal Government Client working on a major infrastructure and computer networking project. As a Project Manager, you will collaborate with senior leaders to achieve strategic outcomes across the Defence capability systems.


About The Role
  • Coordinate weekly project team meetings to ensure seamless communication and progress.
  • Develop comprehensive project artefacts, including project execution plans, integrated project management plans, security plans, and workforce plans.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and changes to minimize disruptions.
  • Analyze requirements and plan for facilities to meet project objectives.
  • Maintain accurate data and configuration records.
  • Collaborate with the project costing team to align project activities with costing estimates.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in project administration, preferably in the APS, ADF, or consulting/professional services environment.
  • Familiarity with Capability Life Cycle and CASG policies and procedures is highly desirable.
  • Able to work collaboratively with stakeholders in a professional manner.
  • Experience working in a Defence or Federal Government environment is essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
