The Role Overview

  • Provide support to children and young people with disabilities, promoting their independence and quality of life.
  • Assist with daily living activities, personal care, community access, and skill development.
  • Buid strong relationships with participants and their families, ensuring safe and person-centred care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality support.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to relevant standards and guidelines.

Essential Requirements

  • Current working rights in Australia.
  • National Police Check within the last 3 years.
  • Flu vaccination and willingness to maintain immunisations.
  • Driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
  • Experience working with children in the disability sector (essential).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to delivering professional, compassionate, and safe care.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Qualifications in health or disability-related fields (desirable).
  • Relevant training or certifications (e.g. First Aid, CPR)
