Job Title: Disability Support Worker

We are seeking casual disability support workers to join our growing team. This position requires your willingness to support individuals with disabilities in their community, home, or Supported Independent Living setting.

This is a great opportunity for you to make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities. As a disability support worker, you will provide high-quality support and care to our clients, helping them to achieve their goals and live independently.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Support individuals with disabilities in their daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Assist clients with accessing community facilities and services, such as shopping, leisure activities, and medical appointments
  • Work collaboratively with other support staff to ensure seamless support and care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, as required
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Essential Skills:
  • A positive and contemporary attitude towards providing high-quality support to people with disabilities
  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Experience in the industry (desirable but not necessary)
  • Desirable Qualifications:
  • Certificate III in Individual Support
  • Paid Blue Card or willing to obtain prior to commencement
  • NDIS Worker Clearance
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate
