Job Description

The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in expanding and managing commercial solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) installation sites across Victoria.


This exciting opportunity involves:

  • Supervising and managing commercial solar and BESS installation sites to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Installing, testing, and commissioning solar PV systems, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
  • Providing leadership, mentoring, and support to apprentices and site teams.
  • Maintaining clear and consistent communication with projects and operations teams.
  • Ensuring compliance with WHS, electrical, and industry regulations.
  • Conducting site inspections, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be considered for this challenging and rewarding role, you will need to have:

  • A strong background in supervisory or leadership roles within the solar and renewable energy sector.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in managing commercial solar and BESS installation sites.
  • A current A-Class Electrical Licence.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams, mentor apprentices, and drive accountability.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to thrive in high-pressure environments with a proven ability to respond swiftly and effectively to urgent project demands.
  • Experience working with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
  • A commitment to safety, quality assurance, and customer service.
  • The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external clients and stakeholders.
