Job Overview

The role of Digital Portfolio Governance Lead is a crucial one in establishing the newly created Digital Portfolio Management Office.

This position will lead the development and implementation of governance frameworks, processes, and practices that ensure effective delivery of strategic digital programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing digital portfolio governance processes and procedures
  • Providing secretariat services to the Digital Steering Committee and its Program Boards
  • Collaborating with program leads and stakeholders to ensure metrics are fit-for-purpose measures of program success
  • Tracking the health of the entire portfolio and analysing portfolio metrics and outcomes to support decision-making and prioritisation
  • Regularly reviewing and enhancing the portfolio governance structure, processes, and practices to optimise efficiency, effectiveness, and stakeholder satisfaction
Requirements

This role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience (4+ years) in managing a high-value digital portfolio and associated governance frameworks in a PMO in a large, complex organisation, as well as industry recognised certification (e.g. MoP).

Location Options

The successful candidate can be based in Perth WA, Melbourne VIC, Sydney NSW, Brisbane QLD, or Canberra ACT.
