Commercial Analyst Role

  • Analyse complex data sets to identify patterns and trends that inform commercial favourable/customer-driven outcomes and optimal business approaches.

  • Develop actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making, leveraging graphical formats like Tableau or PowerBI to effectively communicate findings to senior executives.

  • Collaborate in the development of business cases, financial modelling, and commercial analysis for key projects and growth initiatives, ensuring regular updates for stakeholders on emerging findings and insights.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance data quality and streamline analytical processes, driving continuous improvement in our commercial capabilities.

  • Design tools, templates, and automated workflows to optimise business operations, harnessing quantitative techniques to address complex ad-hoc problems.

Key Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in analytics, computer science, business, economics, or a related field.

  • 5+ years' experience in data and analytics roles, with a strong background in Telco and CRM work.

  • Proficiency in SQL programming.

  • Experience working with large, complex datasets.

  • Strong visualisation skills using tools like Tableau and PowerBI.

Additional Desirable Skills

  • Ability to craft compelling presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with a talent for translating commercial requirements into objective data insights and actionable business solutions.
