Electrical Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting repairs and preventive maintenance of ground support equipment.

In this role, you will be responsible for utilizing your technical expertise to ensure top-tier solutions for the aviation industry. Your tasks will include conducting preventive servicing, data collecting, repair, and maintenance tasks that reflect a trade standard, while promoting a safety-first approach.

You will work closely with fabricators, technicians, and assistants to develop and implement effective solutions. The role requires working with various specialized GSE equipment and utilizing a wide collection of knowledge & skills.

To succeed in this position, you will need to possess most of the following skills and qualifications:

  • A relevant Mechanic Trade Qualification
  • Experience with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical fault finding
  • A current and valid Driver's License
  • A strong focus on safety standards
  • Knowledge of company policies & procedures
  • Experience working within procedural guidelines
  • Good communication skills
  • Proactiveness, positive attitude, and proactive mindset
