Job Title: Skilled Aged Care Professionals

Requirements:
  • 600+ hours of paid experience in aged care (Australia)
  • AHPRA registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse
  • Up-to-date flu, COVID, and other necessary vaccinations
  • Police and NDIS clearance
  • First Aid, CPR, Manual Handling certification
  • Availability for day, afternoon, and night shifts
  • Reliable transport and good communication skills
Duties:
  1. Registered Nurses:
    1. Experience working in aged care and with people who have dementia is highly valued
    2. Understanding and implementation of the Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards
    3. Delivery of holistic care plans to residents, using a Person-Centred Care approach
    4. Supervision and management of standard care delivery, ensuring individualised and person-centred care
    5. High level of clinical competency and ability to respond to changes in clinical need and deterioration
    6. Commitment to being part of a workplace culture dedicated to supporting the well-being of older people
    7. Leadership and supervision of care workers and Enrolled Nurses
  2. Enrolled Nurses:
    1. Administration of medication and wound management
    2. Support for RNs and delegated tasks
    3. Supporting the wellbeing of residents and supervision of Care Worker staff
    4. Maintenance of accurate documentation
