Heavy Diesel Equipment Maintenance Specialist

The Heavy Diesel Fitter role involves servicing, repairs, and inspections of a variety of equipment including haul trucks, ancillary equipment, and generators.
You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing new initiatives to enhance work procedures and safety practices.
- Performing routine maintenance and repair tasks on heavy diesel equipment.
- Initiating updates to work procedures to ensure they are accurate and relevant to the equipment.
- Providing input into root cause analysis and subsequent resolution of issues affecting equipment reliability.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Australian Recognised Heavy Mechanical Qualifications.
- Komatsu haul trucks, Caterpillar ancillary equipment, Liebherr and Atlas Copco experience highly desirable.
- Demonstrated diagnostics and breakdown experience with ideally both trucks & ancillary equipment.
- A commitment to safety, quality and attention to detail and procedure.
- Computer literacy and/or experience in SAP.
