Job Title: Heavy Equipment Electrician

Are you an experienced electrician looking for a challenging role in heavy equipment maintenance? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated Heavy Equipment Electrician to join our team.

Job Description:
  • Perform routine and breakdown electrical maintenance services on heavy machinery and vehicles, focusing on electrical systems, wiring, and components.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex electrical faults to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
  • Set up and pack down the fully mobile workshop on-site, ensuring the team remains self-sufficient and adaptable.
  • Work outdoors in variable conditions, maintaining strong environmental awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Electrical Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine and breakdown electrical maintenance services on heavy machinery and vehicles, focusing on electrical systems, wiring, and components.
  2. Electrical Diagnostics and Troubleshooting: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex electrical faults to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
  3. Mobile Workshop Operations: Set up and pack down the fully mobile workshop on-site, ensuring the team remains self-sufficient and adaptable.
  4. Environmental Awareness: Work outdoors in variable conditions, maintaining strong environmental awareness.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an electrician, preferably servicing heavy machinery in mining or industrial sectors.
  • Ability to perform electrical maintenance and repairs in a field environment.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varied conditions—heat, humidity, dust, and variable weather.
  • Strong electrical problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently within a tight-knit team.
  • Flexibility and physical stamina to support packing and transportation of workshop equipment.
