We are seeking a talented individual to fill the role of Mechanical Engineer Lecturer or Senior Lecturer.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

As a Senior Lecturer (Level C), you will also have the opportunity to:

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Doctoral Qualification: A doctoral qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Teaching Experience: Experience teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate programs, preferably in areas such as advanced system design, energy, or electromechanical systems.
  • Research Profile: An emerging research profile with potential to contribute to energy, advanced manufacturing, or materials engineering through publications, collaborative projects, or research supervision.
  • Academic Culture: A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive academic culture where students and staff are supported to achieve their best.
  • Professional Memberships: Experience contributing to academic governance, program coordination, or other collaborative university initiatives, and professional memberships or connections that support student outcomes and strengthen links with industry or the community.
  • Continuous Learning: A willingness to keep learning and growing your practice as a teacher, researcher, and academic leader.
