Leadership Opportunity in Wealth Management Paraplanning

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our Paraplanning team at Perpetual Wealth Management.
About the RoleAs a Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing quality, compliant and timely paraplanning services & strategic advice support to Advisers, Partners and clients.
- Assist the Senior Manager, National Paraplanning with the management of the National Paraplanning team to deliver effective and consistent support to Senior Advisers, Trust Managers and their clients
- Provide leadership, coaching & onboarding support & assist with workflow allocation as needed
- Collaborate with Advisers, Partners, Associate Advisers & other in-house specialists to formulate advice & investment strategies that provide optimal client outcomes
- Generate tailored advice documents (SOAs and ROAs) within agreed time frames & service standards
- Meet individual quality and productivity targets
- Prepare financial calculations, modelling and detailed cash flow analysis
- Proactively seek opportunities to create administrative efficiencies & improve internal tools and templates
- Contribute to effective risk and compliance management through ensuring appropriate measures, controls and activities are taken to fulfil corporate and regulatory compliance.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 3 years paraplanning experience
- Proven leadership & stakeholder management skills
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
- Strong investigate, analysis and problem-solving abilities,
- Sound understanding of investment principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong Excel skills are an advantage
- PC literate (Word & Excel)
- Previous experience with XPLAN financial planning software
- Experience in the preparation of investment & strategic reviews including, superannuation consolidation, retirement, personal insurance, structures, taxation, income streams & cash flow modelling desirable
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
