Procurement Officer Job Summary

This is a 12-month APS 4 level role for a Procurement Officer to provide expert advice and support to the procurement team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking research and analysis activities, providing administrative assistance to the Procurement team, initiating the drafting of procurement-related documentation, entering, extracting and manipulating data to enable accurate reporting, and contributing to team planning activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake administrative tasks to support the Procurement team
  • Initiate the drafting of procurement-related documentation
  • Enter, extract and manipulate data to enable accurate reporting
  • Contribute to team planning activities

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Adaptability and resilience are essential skills required for this role. The successful candidate will also need well-developed critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills, and previous experience in Procurement or Finance. Knowledge of SAP Essentials or SAP GUI is highly regarded.

Benefits:

This role offers a standard 37.5-hour work week, with an average of eight hours per day. Work arrangements include two days working from home with the remaining three on site.
