Primary Arts Educator Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate educator to join our primary school community as a Primary Arts Educator. This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate to share their love of The Arts with children in Prep to Year 6, while developing and implementing engaging and challenging learning experiences.

  • Develop and deliver high-quality arts programs that foster creativity, innovation, and critical thinking in students;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement cross-curricular units that integrate arts, literacy, and numeracy skills;
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social-emotional learning and well-being;
  • Work closely with teachers to provide targeted support and differentiation for students with diverse needs;
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in arts education and curriculum design.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor of Education (Primary) or equivalent qualification;
  • Experience teaching The Arts in a primary school setting;
  • Strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and National Standards;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team;
  • Capacity to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
