Job Title: Home Care Professional
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Home Care Professional to provide in-home care services to aged individuals who require support to live independently, and their carers.
- Provide personalized support for clients in activities of daily living, promoting autonomy, wellness, and enablement goals.
- Support carers by delivering meaningful and enjoyable experiences that meet the needs of the client, as documented in the Care Plan.
- Apply Consumer Directed Care and wellness and reablement approaches.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent, or working towards obtaining this qualification.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with diverse backgrounds.
- A commitment to maintaining and supporting child safety, equity, inclusion, and cultural safety.
- A client-centered approach.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- An understanding of and empathy with values and ideals related to social justice.
