About the Role

The Senior Operations Manager oversees operational functions for the South East Asia and Pacific region, ensuring statutory compliance, governance, office management, human resources, department fundraising, staff safety and safeguarding, programme support and regulatory adherence.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain processes and systems required for operational functions.
  • Provide project, administrative and logistical support as necessary.
  • Liaise and support across programme teams, consultants and suppliers.
  • Represent the Operations team on the departmental leadership team and contribute to departmental strategy and management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Significant experience in organisational and team management to a senior level.
  • Experience managing operations functions, including finance, human resources, and/or safety compliance.
  • Strong organisational skills, including planning, developing, implementing and maintaining administrative systems.
  • Ability to coordinate and execute project planning.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting and financial management.
  • Experience of line management and team management.
  • Initiative, enthusiasm and a problem-solving approach to new challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours occasionally and undertake travel.
