Job Title: Electron Microscopy Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electron Microscopy Specialist to support innovative research at the Centre for Advanced Microscopy (CAM). This is a full-time, continuing position that involves expert sample preparation and imaging for transmission and scanning electron microscopy in life science applications.

  • Key Responsibilities:

Prepare biological samples for electron microscopy using advanced techniques and equipment.

Operate complex EM instruments to achieve high-quality images and data.

Develop and optimize EM workflows to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Provide technical support and training to researchers across disciplines.

Required Qualifications:

Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field, complemented by extensive experience or equivalent education and practical training in electron microscopy within a life science context.

Demonstrated expertise in preparing biological samples and operating complex EM equipment.

Advanced skills in transmission and scanning electron microscopy techniques.
