Biomedical Technician Job Summary

Deliver quality biomedical services and support the growth of a national hospital in Palau.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain biomedical equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Train staff on proper usage and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Update inventory records to reflect current equipment status.
  • Repair faulty machinery and implement safety protocols to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain digital records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional knowledge of biomedical equipment and technology.
  • Demonstrated technical skills, attention to detail, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a biomedical technician, preferably in a national hospital setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering or technology.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex information to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
