We are seeking an experienced Venue Manager to lead our Front of House team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning, directing, supervising and coordinating the service of food and beverages, dining room and bar
  • Monitoring employee uniforms and attire to maintain high standards
  • Reporting workplace harassment or bullying
  • Performing duties as required by separate position descriptions
  • Ensuring the dining, bar area and related areas are setup before and during service
  • Overseeing restaurant open/close and lockup
  • Managing cash handling and balance
  • Consulting with employees and resolving problems or escalating to management when necessary
  • Training, monitoring and enforcing in-house procedures for all FOH employees
  • Attending to and recording complaints concerning food and beverages
  • Assessing the performance of FOH employees on a frequent basis
  • Working collaboratively with the Kitchen Manager
  • Enforcing Occupational Health and Safety regulations for staff and patrons
  • Maintaining a Responsible Person certification and understanding Liquor Licensing Act compliance
  • Ensuring cleanliness, function and appearance of the venue conform to sanitary regulations
  • Advising management on matters requiring attention and implementing decisions
  • Requiring RP, RSA and current National Police check

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $26.00 per hour
