Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform associated blasting, preparation, and painting tasks within the shipyard environment on vessels and associated components/equipment or other tasks on time, in full, and to standard.
  • Conduct fire and confined space watches as required and directed by supervisors/ managers.
  • Ensure good housekeeping practices and punctuality are maintained.

Requirements
  • Trade Certification in Abrasive Blasting/Industrial Coatings or equivalent.
  • Construction White Card.
  • Experience in Blasting/Painting in marine industry or heavy industrial.
  • Protective Coatings Quality Control.
  • Able to perform work in a safe and acceptable manner.
