Based in Hemmant, Brisbane, within the Marine Industry Park along the Brisbane River, AMO-Australia is known for its spacious and quality workshop facility.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an LSA FFE Technician. The LSA FFE Technician will be responsible for conducting annual inspections and 5-year overhauls of LSA equipment, performing maintenance and repairs on firefighting and lifesaving appliances, lifeboats, rescue boats, davits, winches, immersion suits, lifejackets, gangways, and accommodation ladders. Additionally, the role includes performing load testing and assisting in conducting training seminars.
Qualifications
- Experience in conducting inspections and maintenance of LSA and FFE equipment.
- Skilled in repairs and servicing of firefighting appliances, lifeboats, rescue boats, davits, winches, and related systems
- Excellent onsite troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in marine safety, maintenance, and repair
- Experience in the marine or offshore industry is a plus
