This role presents an opportunity to work outdoors in waste management, contributing to maintaining clean public spaces. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive attitude, be dependable, and be willing to get their hands dirty.

Job Details

As a Waste Collector, you will work Monday to Friday from 6am to 3pm. Key tasks include:

  • Emptying rubbish bins from parks and public areas
  • Picking up roadside debris to maintain clean and tidy areas
  • Assisting with forklift operations in the yard to unload deliveries
  • Maintaining the depot by occasionally using the whipper snipper

To excel in this position, you will need:

  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • A MR license or higher (advantageous)
  • A forklift license (beneficial)
  • The ability to spend most of the day walking and picking up/emtying bins

In return, you will receive a competitive hourly rate plus superannuation, and stable work hours in a long-term position.
