About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at Enoggera, supporting the stores service for the Retail Stores Contract.

This is a permanent opportunity working Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4pm with a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To receive, check, and acquit stores under supervision, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in inventory management.
  • Stock packing and preparation for dispatch along with loading and unloading trucks when needed and if qualified.
  • To assist with kit issues for customers, providing excellent customer service skills.
  • Reconciling EFTPOS transactions under supervision, maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Over the counter customer service, resolving customer queries in a professional manner.
  • Assisting with regular stock takes, accurately reporting any discrepancies.
  • Inspect and accept return items from customers for serviceability and re-issue.
  • Process workplace documentation for store transactions, maintaining compliance with regulations.
  • Storing and packing goods and materials in accordance with procedures and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Prior demonstrated experience as a store / warehouse attendant, with a strong understanding of inventory management principles.
  • Knowledge of or the ability to gain knowledge of the Electronic Supply Chain Manual, MILIS, PIMS, DTP and Defence related logistic policies.
  • Driver's licence applicable to vehicles on site (Car) and Forklift License highly desirable.
  • Good customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Intermediate computer skills (spreadsheets and applications), with proficiency in software relevant to inventory management.
