About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Support Specialist to join our team at Auto & General. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring a smooth and efficient assessment process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, following all relevant system and administrative protocols.
  • Maintain consistent and proactive communication with customers, ensuring they are informed about the progression of their vehicle repairs.
  • Communicate professionally with repairers and tow operators to achieve mutual understanding of forthcoming steps.
  • Use your skills and experience to provide appropriate advice and guidance to customers, informing their decision making leading to optimal assessing, repair, or total loss resolutions.
  • Facilitate rebooking and pathing activities by guiding customers into our Internal Assessment Centres (IACs) and repairer network.
  • Actively identify and resolve customer dissatisfaction instances using complaint management systems and protocols.
  • Effectively manage all aspects of repairer services throughout the fulfilment process.
About You

We are looking for a highly developed individual with:

  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to influence stakeholder outcomes.
  • Previous experience working in the Insurance industry with demonstrated strong customer service skills.
  • Strong computer skills and experience working with industry-specific programs.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise tasks and manage workload.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with challenging situations in a calm and professional manner.
  • Team player with a positive approach to work.
