About this Role

We are seeking a Production Officer to join our team at our Laverton concrete plant. This is a permanent full-time role, offering a challenging and rewarding experience in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and displaying a strong safety culture at all times, as well as producing high-quality concrete using multiple systems and processes. They will also be involved in yard maintenance, forklift and front-end loader operation, manual handling of bagged products, and other tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety: The ability to identify and mitigate risks, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Production: Meeting production targets and ensuring the quality of the final product.
  • Maintenance: Carrying out routine maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient operation of equipment and machinery.
  • Physical demands: Being able to physically perform all duties associated with the position, including manual handling of materials.
Requirements:
  • Candidate Profile: A team player who is self-motivated and able to work unsupervised, with a strong work ethic and results-focused attitude.
  • Skills: Effective communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and a willingness to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screening.
  • Qualifications: A valid driver's license and own transport, with front end loader and/or forklift competency an advantage.
