The Australia Head of Real Estate Transactions/Acquisitions role is a senior leadership position within the direct Real Estate team in Australia.
About UsDWS Real Estate is a full-service Real Estate manager with approximately EUR 61 billion AUM globally. We acquire and manage investments in individual assets or Real Estate portfolios on behalf of funds and separate accounts.
The direct Real Estate team in Australia is responsible for the origination, acquisition, asset management and disposition of Real Estate assets in Australia, which are to be acquired by a wide range of funds and clients of the DWS platform.
Job Details- Team management responsibility for direct Real Estate transactions and asset management in Australia
- Leading on the full transaction life-cycle that includes, sourcing acquisitions, underwriting and evaluating the acquisition, negotiating the agreement, coordinating the due diligence process and responsibility for closing
- Executing all capital market activity as it relates to financing of the assets in accordance with terms required by Portfolio Managers
- Executing on property dispositions, in line with guidance from the Portfolio Manager of each investment
- Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and driving complex transactions to successful completion
- Strong knowledge of Australian Real Estate markets and regulations
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
