Research Quality Manager Role
Our institution is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research Quality Manager to lead the preparation of our submission to the national research assessment exercise, with a focus on producing high-quality outcomes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing impact in relation to REF, supporting the REF Steering Group and Unit of Assessment coordinators, and working closely with our Pro-Vice Chancellor Research to manage and deliver the Annual Monitoring of Research evidence-led process.
The successful candidate will have substantial relevant experience in research management and administration, as well as significant experience in complex project management and delivery. You will possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead evaluation processes that include reporting, developmental, and learning opportunities for participants. Additionally, you will have proficiency in IT systems, websites, and databases, with good communication skills across all media.
We are looking for a self-starter who can work to tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Good interpersonal skills are essential for this role, which involves collaboration with various stakeholders across the institution. We value constructive feedback and share best practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the preparation of the institution's submission to the national research assessment exercise
